PROJECT OVERVIEW

Jason, an elopement photographer in a competitive market, aimed to differentiate himself from competitors by moving away from the overused whimsical style. Instead, he sought branding that reflects his inclusive and adventurous approach to photography.

THE RE-BRAND

Jason, formerly known as "Your story photo + cinema," repositioned himself in the industry. Through this name change, we shifted from a whimsical templated logo to a rugged outdoorsy visual identity. This change reflects his focus on a new audience: couples seeking elopements in mountainous settings, distinct from traditional large-scale weddings.

BRAND TAGLINE

"Let's capture your story" is short, sweet, and direct. Potential clients read this tagline and understand that Jason isn't your typical wedding photographer - he puts his clients wants/needs first.

WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THE LOGOMARK?

This mark features a Canadian leaf with a mountain range cutout, symbolizing Jason's deep connection to the outdoors. He grew up in Canada and now based in Colorado, integrating these defining elements was essential.

The curvatures and angular lines are gender-neutral, but lean slightly feminine as most of the clientelle that reach out are women.
